Join our 1 Day Tour and discover the famous Canyon of the Lost, an impressive natural formation in the Ica Desert, in the form of a crack in the earth.
The canyon of the lost is a natural wonder of Peru, located in Ica and aims to amaze its visitors, located just outside of Ica, on this full day excursion. Join a small group and spend the day discovering ancient fossils, saltpeter and the depths of the canyon. As you hike, your guide sheds light on the geological history of the area dating back more than 10 million years.

The canyon of the lost tour starts at approximately 6:30 am.
Pick up from the comfort of your hotel or bus station, on the way there will be a stop to buy drinks and some food for the tour. Approximately 7:30 am departure to the Lost Canyon, we head to the Panamerican Highway South to then take the detour that will take us to the OCUCAJE Desert, after approximately 02 hours we will be arriving at the crack that was formed by the riverbed and the capricious forms that has given the wind erosion.
At approximately 09:00 am we will arrive at the Mirador del Cañón; where you will see the great crack that shows its extension and depth, which in turn serves as protection for the scavengers that are the guardians of this area. We will begin our hike through a sandy path where you can also observe some fossils and saltpeter that lead us to the water wells of this great canyon of 150 meters deep and 1.5km long, the walk will be exciting. 11 a.m. approximately we will transfer to the city of Ica. At approximately 3:00 p.m. arrival to the city of Ica.
